Week 1: Sketch model for my dream house
Step 1: Materials
I started the process by collecting some of the scrap materials around my house. I had some scrap materials (most of it from my students years) for use into the development of the dream house project(like cheap cardboard, balsa wood, colourful papers, transparent materials, pieces of cork, natural leaves etc.)
I tried to collect natural materials or elements such leaves to create a friendly environment for my dream house in the forest.

Tools:My workspace and tools I will use to make the model.
Step 2: Scale figures
I have made some scale figures in 1:50 scale to use them in my dream house. The first two of them are made by wire while the other two are made from the cut out of figures from the web in cardboard.

Step 3: Concept of the idea
I like VERY much the houses that are situated inside forests, where nobody can see you easily and you get away from the hard reality of the city.It is a cityscape!! From an early age,I always paint landscape scenery in natural environments with rivers and lots of trees and until now throughout my architecture years,I always try my projects to fit with the natural environment and have trees or a small forest as context. Also I like very much live in the mountains.
So, the idea is to create a house that is placed into a forest, taking part of the terrain and maximize that kind of landscape. The principal core is a flexible space, allowing to mix the uses of the spaces and have a lot of big openings and windows to provide natural light to the spaces of the house. Also,I would like to make a small atrium with a tree inside penetrating the house and reaching the roof,to give more natural element to the house.
Also I will make two cubic volumes(the upper one twisted) to provide multiple views to the beautiful forest landscape!
That is my cubic dream house in the forest !!

Farnsworth House,Mies Van de Rohe
I was totally inspired by the house of Mies Van de Rohe,as it intergrates very much with nature and forest and it creates almost a glass house to capture the natural environment from all sides of the house. Also,I noticed that all these houses are a little bit elevated from the ground level for security reasons.

Inspiration
Here are some examples of beautiful houses inside forests as an inspiration to my ideas.

To conclude, the concept for my dream house is :
- - to create a simple house with 2 twisted volumes to offer views.
- - to enhance the natural environment(create a small forest area)
- - Integration of the surrounding by the help of glass sides.
- -The house needs to be elevated from the ground level a little bit for safety reasons.
- -to create an atrium or a tree penetrating the house to bring the natural element inside the house.
- - The sitting area must have a view to the outside.
- - The spatial proportion should give freedom of movement but should not be too big.
